Outreach Campaigns 2020 – Budweiser, SportsHosts and more

Sportwalk’s digital outreach campaigns facilitated a host of brands to reach out to our audience with curated content, contests and other activations in 2020.

Budweiser

To celebrate Leo Messi’s historic 644th goal for FC Barcelona, Sportwalk activated a promotional campaign for Budweiser and Budweiser India. As a part of the momentous occasion, Budweiser’s Instagram filter was promoted across our accounts along with moment marketing content.

Gully Live Fast

Sportwalk associated with Gully Live Fast through the Bharat Army ahead of the Indian Sports Honours (postponed) to promote their exclusive range of merchandise. Our outreach campaign garnered over 580,000 impressions across our in-house and affiliate channels.

Twelfth Man

Sportwalk worked on promoting the Twelfth Man – India’s first football-only fantasy app on our in-house and affiliate channels. From promoting the launch campaign which featured Team India’s captain Sunil Chhetri to publishing over 150 promotional and co-branded creatives, our campaign garnered over 1 million impressions in 2020.

SportsHosts

SportsHosts, the world’s first global sports fan community partnered with Sportwalk during IPL 2020. The partnership yielded into hosting a Super Fan contest on every IPL team group on their platform, with plenty of prizes up for grabs. The contest saw an overwhelming response as over 2,400 cricket fans joined the community.

Free Fire India

Sportwalk partnered with Free Fire India, one of India’s most popular gaming apps to promote the induction of Cristiano Ronaldo as one of the game’s characters. The outreach campaign focusing on ‘Operation Chrono’ gained visibility of over 100,000 people across our platforms.

Barbados Tridents

Sportwalk associated with the Caribbean Premier League outfit Barbados Tridents in partnership with the Bharat Army as cricket returned to the Windies in August. The campaign involved promoting the franchise by distribution the original content on our inhouse channels – Team Chennai, Team Hyderabad and Cricket Sportwalk. Superstars Rashid Khan, Mitchell Santner and Rashid Khan answered questions handpicked by us while few lucky fans won signed merchandise from the team.

Fan2Play

Sportwalk worked with Fan2Play – India’s fastest fantasy app as Team India returned to action against the Aussies and England took on South Africa in November and December. The pilot campaign received over 2.5 million impressions and helped us drive the audience to their platform. Following the successful pilot campaign, Sportwalk was commissioned by Fan2Play for creating their social media content for their brand account and a more integrated outreach program.

Quiz Wars is a multiplayer trivia game featuring quizzes on a range of subjects. Sportwalk worked with Quiz Wars to promote the platform across our in-house and affiliate channels to drive participants to their sports-based contests. Our outreach campaign garnered over 300,000 impressions and 3,500 clicks.

TTC Academy

Sportwalk engineered an outreach campaign for TTC Academy, an innovative cricket training academy based in Bangalore throughout the IPL 2020 season. The campaign helps them gain over 120,000 impressions and 400+ lead enquiry clicks during the season. Following the successful pilot campaign, Sportwalk was commissioned by TTC Academy for creating the social media content for their brand account and a more integrated outreach program.
